Lot #48 - this original Third Reich postcard shows the Luitpold Arena at the Reichsparteitaggelaende on the outskirts of  the city of Nürnberg, decorated with Nazi swastika banners and the famous Schmid-Ehmen eagles. 

This striking 86 x 141 mm postcard was mailed from Nuremberg on 9 November 1944 to Vienna.
With original Hitler stamp, in very good condition, as shown.

Lot #307 - what makes this 105 x 147 mm cardstock Third Reich card rare is that it was mailed by a German working at the Arbeitsamt Tarnopol, the Nazi Employment Office in the large western Ukranian city of Tarnopol.  It was mailed by Deutsche Dienstpost Osten to Leopoldine Hartwig in Vienna on 11 March 1943 and there is a handwritten message on the back.  The 1-1/4 inch round blue rubber stamp next to the address is from the Kanzlei (chancellery) of the District Employment Office Tarnopol.  Condition as shown.
Lot #341 - this original, unused Nazi era postcard has the lyrics of the Bruno Balz song Das kann doch einen Seemann nicht erschüttern used in the 1939 movie Paradies der Junggesellen. (Bachelors' Paradise) about U-Boot crew comrades.  Note the Kriesgsmarine sailors in the four corners of this card, and Churchill and Neville Chamberlain at the bottom.

This original Third Reich postcard measures 89 x 139 mm.  Never mailed, blank back. Nice condition.

1938 Gau-Frankentag
Lot #39 - the annual rally of the NSDAP of Gau Franken was held at the Hesselberg (Hessel Mountain), located 40 miles southwest of Nürnberg, the capital of Gau Franken. It was a major cult location for fanatic National Socialists and was refered to as the "Holy Mountain of Franconia". Frankenführer Julius Streicher wanted to be buried there and the planning for an Adolf Hitler Leadership school at the Hesselberg was in an advanced stage.

This original Nazi postcard shows images of Nürnberg with a portrait of Gauleiter and Frankenführer Julius Streicher in the middle.
It was produced for the huge June 1938 Gau-Frankentag at the Hesselberg which were the second largest rallies in Nazi Germany (only the Nazi Party Days in Nürnberg were larger). The postcard has a round Hesselberg Frankentag event cancelation over a green Hindenburg stamp, but the card was never addressed or mailed. Corner fold - see picture of the back side.

Lot #241 - this Third Reich color postcard was published by the Kameradschaftsblock der Deutschen Reichspost with a preprinted green Kameradschaftsblock der Deutschen Reichspost stamp.  A stamp collector added a red Adolf Hitler stamp and both have a cancelation from the "Soviet Paradise Exhibition" in Berlin, dated 24 May 1942.

 Lot #243 - a 1942 illustration by Karl Blossfeld was used to produce this 104 x 146 mm color postcard of men of the German medical corps tending to wounded Wehrmacht soldiers.  

The card was published by Reichsgesundheitsverlag of Berlin and Wien.   It was never mailed and has a blank back.

Lot 314 - shows the Dutzenteich lake and the Honor Stand with the huge swastika on top at the Zeppelin Field on the Nazi Party Day Grounds in Nuremberg.  The original Nazi era photographic postcard measures 91 x 141 mm and was mailed from Nürnberg, die Stadt der Reichsparteitage using a green Danzig ist Deutsch postage stamp.

Lot #232 - this 105 x 147 mm postcard was produced for the Reichstagung 1938 der NSG Kraft durch Freude Hamburg.  The KdF cruise ship Wilhelm Gustloff is in the background of the illustration.  The pre-printed green air mail postage stamp was canceled at Kitzingen on 11 June 1938.  Very good condition as shown, never mailed.

Lot #225B - this is an original deckle Nazi postcard of the Nazi Honor Temples with SS guards and in the background the building that housed Hitler's office in Munich, the Führerbau.  The card was mailed from Munich on 3 February 1938 and has a round "Capital of the Movement" cancelation with swastika.

Lot #162 - this colorful Nazi postcard celebrates the enlargement of Grossdeutschland or Greater Germany by Adolf Hitler in 1938.  In that year, the Sudetenland (part of Czechoslovakia) with its large ethnic German population was added to Nazi Germany and this postcard shows Adolf Hitler and Konrad Henlein, leader of the Nazi Party in Sudetenland, in the center.

This 104 x 147 mm postcard came with a pre-printed 6 Pfennig Deutsches Reich stamp.  It was never used and has a blank back.  Very nice condition.

Lot #234 - this postcard show a typical German Maibaum, heavily decorated with swastika banners.  According to the text below the image, it was designed by Professor Albert Speer.  The 104 x 147 mm card was mailed on 2 May 1938 from Berlin to Alice Pomperin who lived at Horst Wesselstrasse 74 in a small town in Mecklenburg.  With 5th anniversary RLB cancelation.

Lot #300 - left, this 106 x 149 mm cardstock postcard with artwork by famous artist Ax-Heu was part of a series produced for the German Stamp Collector Organization and their 1942 Day of the Postage Stamp. This is the Kriegsmarine postcard from the series.

It came with a pre-printed 3 Pfennig Adolf Hitler postage stamp and this example is overprinted with the word UKRAINE. It has a blank back. Condition exactly as shown.
