Lot #192 - left, a beautiful 100 x 150 mm original Nazi color postcard designed by Franz Fasching for the Olympic Flame ceremony in Wien (Vienna) on 29 July 1936. 

This Third Reich Olympic Games postcard was never mailed but has a cancelation from Vienna during the Olympic Flame ceremony.  Very good condition.
Lot 194a - left, an original Third Reich 105 x 147 mm postcard showing part of the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. The design was by Georg Fritz and the card came with a pre-printed Deutsches Reich postage stamp featuring the Olympic Bell.

Very good used condition with blank back and Olympic Stadium cancelation dated 16 August 1936.

Lot 196 - left, an original unused Third Reich photographic 91 x 141 mm postcard showing the Goddes of Victory designed by Willy Meller at the Reichssportfeld or Olympic Stadium.  This card was never mailed and has a blank back.  It has slight damage to the lower right corner.  Used condition.

Lot 191 - right, an unused original 105 x 147 mm Nazi postcard produced for the February 1936 Winter Olympics at Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It was produced with a pre-printed Deutsches Reich postage stamp of a Nazi eagle clutching Olympic Rings.

Absolutely originial to the Third Reich period and in very good condition with blank back.

Lot 197a - left and below, this Official Olympia-Postkarte published by the Reichssportverlag in Berlin shows Japanese Olympic gold medal winner Naoto Tajima in action in the triple jump (he also set a new world record).   The Third Reich card measures 91 x 141 mm and has a special 6+4 Pfennig Olympische Spiele postage stamp featuring a soccer player on it which was canceled at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on 15 August 1936 before it was mailed to somebody in Vienna (see below).

Lot 189 - right, an unused original 104 x 147 mm Nazi postcard produced to be mailed from the Olympic Village (Dorf) by Olympic athletes participating in the 1936 Summer Olympics at Berlin. It was never mailed but does have two Olympisches Dorf cancelations dated 11 August 1936.

Absolutely originial to the Third Reich period and in very good condition with blank back.

Lot 362 - left, an original Third Reich photographic 105 x 147 mm postcard showing the Olympia-Stadion, part of the Reichssportfeld in Berlin.  The deckel edge card was produced by Stengel & Co. of Dresden.  Mailed from Berlin on 25 August 1938, it is in very good used condition.  Has a Leipziger Messe event cancel.

Olympic Flame relay
Lot 364 - right, 1936 Olympics advertising postcard number 6 showing the route of the Olympic flame from Olympia, Greece to Berlin, Germany.  It measures 105 x 147 mm and was mailed to Chemnitz on 12 August 1936 from Nuremberg with a green Olympic soccer player postage stamp.  Handwritten message on the back and Nürnberg Sie Stadt der Reichsparteitage slogan cancel in Sütterlinschrift.  Very good used condition.

Lot 190 - this original Nazi color postcard shows the Olympic Village built by the Wehrmacht in Berlin-Döberitz for the athletes participating in the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin.  It measures 100 x 143 mm and has three original Olympisches Dorf cancelations on the back.
Very good condition, exactly as shown.

1936 nazi Olympics postage stamp and cancelation
Lot # 50 - this colorful Nazi postcard was produced for the Olympia Stamp Exhibition that was held in the city of Dresden from 1 - 16 August in 1936 at the same time the State Garden Show was held.  

This original 110 x 148 mm Third Reich postcard was mailed to a man in Dresden on 2 August 1936.   Note the special event cancelations and the brown 1936 Olympic Games postage stamp on the left side on the back.  Very good used condition, exactly as shown left and below.

Lot #360  - right, a 101 x 150 mm Third Reich color postcard produced to raise money for the Olympic Fund of Austria.  It was never mailed but there is an original green Deutsches Reich Olympic postage stamp featuring a soccer player on the back which was canceled during the Olympic Games at the Olympic Stadion in Berlin on 12 August 1936. 

Very nice condition.

Lot 366 - left, an photographic overview of the Olympic facilities in Berlin.  This is an official Olympia-Postkarte with a round red Reichssportfeld stamp on the back, as well as a purple Hitler postage stamp.  Measures 90 x 140 mm.

Lot 369 - we would normally list this card on the USMBOOKS web page with Hitler postcards, but the special cancelations and event stamps on the back of this
original 105 x 149 mm Third Reich postcard make it more appropriate for the 1936 Olympic postcard section.  An enthusiastic Olympic fan had the German Sport Fund advertising card stamped in Hellendorf on 31 July 1936 when the Olympic Torch came through town.  A day later, the Olympic Stadium cancelation was added at the Reichssportfeld

With Deutsche Reichspost 1936 Olympic 'soccer' postage stamp.  Condition exactly as shown, never mailed.
