Lot #98 - right, Verlag Photo-Hoffmann of Munich used an original oil painting by artist C. Horn to produce this color postcard measuring 106 x 148 mm. It shows Adolf Hitler wearing a Nazi uniform with medals under an overcoat.

This Nazi Postkarte was never written on or mailed, but it has two canceled EIN VOLK • EIN REICH • EIN FUHRER postage stamps on the back. The cancelations are from Wien (Vienna) and dated 9 and 10 April 1938, the time of the Anschluss.

Lot 116 - right an original Nazi postcard measuring 105 x 149 mm, showing Adolf Hitler greeting BdM girls. The girl in front giving flowers to Hitler is wearing a BdM uniform with a sleeve insignia from Gau Westfalen. This Postkarte came with a pre-printed 6+19 Deutsches Reich postage stamp. It was never mailed and has a blank back.

Sudetenland
Lot #217- right, an original unused color Nazi postcard that measures 105 x 147 mm. Printed to commemmorate the events of October 1938, when after the Munich Agreement, ethnic German parts of the Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia were added to Hitler's Greater Germany. Wir danken unserm Führer means "We Thank Our Leader."

This card came with a pre-printed green Deutsches Reich stamp featuring an eagle and swastika. It was never mailed but has a cancelation featuring a swastika, dated Bischoftein 2 December 1938. Excellent condition.

Lot #233 - left, Photo-Hoffmann of Munich produced this photographic postcard after Adolf Hitler became Chancellor of Germany on 30 January 1933. Under the photo it says Der Befreier Deutschlands or "the Liberator of Germany."

While this 105 x 147 mm deckle edge postcard was never mailed, it has a blue soaring eagle and swastika Deutsches Luftpost stamp on the back which was canceled in Munich on 10 July 1938. The Day of German Art cancelation has an eagle and swastika above the date.

In excellent condition and 100% original to the Third Reich period.

Lot #237 - right, Photo-Hoffmann of Munich produced this photographic 91 x 141 mm postcard after Adolf Hitler became the Chancellor of Germany on 30 January 1933. Under the photo it says REICHSKANZLER ADOLF HITLER. Note the eagle and swastika pin on the lapel of his business suit.

This Nazi deckle edge postcard was never mailed and has a blank back. There is a fold in the upper left corner as can be seen in the image of this postcard on the right.

Lot #161 - left, this photographic Nazi postcard measures 91 x 138 mm and shows Adolf Hitler at the Königssee near Berchtesgaden. In later years Eva Braun would frequently go swimming here and many photos and some home movies exist showing her at this beautiful alpine lake.

The original photo of Hitler in a business suit and holding a hat was taken by Julius Hillebrand of Königssee on 21 May 1933.
This card was purchased at Hotel Schiffmeister in Königssee and was mailed from there in 1938. Some discoloration from age but in good used condition.

Lot #288 - left, a nice unused 105 x 148 mm printed postcard showing a view of the right side of the face of Der Führer Adolf Hitler. The photo was taken by Joh. Marr and the card from the series Männer der Zeit was produced by Graph. Kunst- und Verlagsanstalt Jos. E. Huber located in the Munich suburb of Diessen.

The green 1941 Tag der Briefmarke postage stamp below the Hitler portrait was canceled in Munich at the "Day of Postage Stamps" on 12 January 1941.

This Third Reich postcard was never mailed and has a blank back.

Hitlergrab Leonding
Lot #112 - right, an unused photographic postcard that shows Adolf Hitler at the grave of his parents, Alois and Klara Hitler, in Leonding on 13 March 1938. The grave is still there today, unchanged, in the churchyard across the street from the house where Hitler spent many years of his childhood.

The 105 x 147 mm postcard was produced by Verlag Heinrich Hoffmann in Munich. While this card was never mailed, it shows wear.

Lot #95 - the red Third Reich postcard shown right was poduced by Verlag Heinrich Hoffmann to remind citizens of Austria that their country should be part of Adolf Hitler's Nazi Germany and that they should vote YES during the referendum of 10 April 1938.
A stamp collector had an Austrian stamp canceled in Vienna on 9 April and a new Nazi German stamp on the historic day of the referendum, 10 April 1938.
