Lot # 50 - this colorful Nazi postcard was produced for the Olympia Stamp Exhibition that was held in the city of Dresden from 1 - 16 August in 1936 at the same time the State Garden Show was held.
This original 110 x 148 mm Third Reich postcard was mailed to a man in Dresden on 2 August 1936. Note the special event cancelations and the brown 1936 Olympic Games postage stamp on the left side on the back. Very good used condition, exactly as shown.
Lot # 150 - left, the unused original 105 x 147 mm Nazi postcard shows the Nazi flag in the the forest of Compiègne, France where "on 21 June 1940 Adolf Hitler undid the dishonor of 1918" by making the French surrender in the same railway coach where the armistice of 1918 took place. This original THird Reich postcard was produced by Kunstverlag Johannes Thordsen Jr. of Hamburg.
It was never mailed and has a blank back. Very good condition.

Lot # 205 - the deckle edge Nazi postcard on the left shows the Consecration Hall of the Haus der deutschen Erziehung, the Nazi education center in Bayreuth. The 104 x 148 mm photographic postcard was produced by Deutscher Volksverlag of Munich and was mailed to Countess Valerie Laxburg in Munich in June of 1939. Special Bayreuth Die Stadt Richard Wagners slogan cancelation showing Richard Wagner's profile.

Lot # 206 - the original 90 x 140 mm deckle edge photographic Nazi postcard shows the outside of the Haus der deutschen Erziehung, the Nazi education center in Bayreuth designed by architect Hans Reissinger.
The card was produced by Verlag Paul Himml of Bayreuth and was never mailed. Blank back, very good condition.

Lot #133 - the original Third Reich postcard on the left measures 105 x 147 mm, has the title Deutsche Musik or German music and features famous German musicians among them Wagner and Beethoven.
This Nazi postcard was produced by the Deutsche Reichspost for the Olympia Postal Exhibition held in Dresden from 1 - 16 August 1936. It was canceled at this exhibition on 2 August 1936 and mailed to a stamp collector in Dresden. No written message on the back. Very good condition.

Lot 223 - this original Nazi postcard with the Gebirgsjäger illustration on the front side was mailed by Feldpost to Vienna on 26 February 1945 from Jübek in Kreis Schleswig. It measures 102 x 248 mm and is in good used condition, as shown.

Lot 158 - "Feeding the Pigeons in Front of the Feldherrnhalle" is the caption on this original 91 x 139 mm Third Reich postcard. The Odeonsplatz looks a lot more peaceful in this picture than in November 1923 on the day of the failed Nazi Putsch! This card has a postmark from Regensburg, but it was written on 18 August 1935 by a visitor to Munich. Good used condition.

Lot 268 - left is an unused Third Reich color postcard of the parliament building on the Ringstrasse in Vienna, the second largest city in Adolf Hitler's Greater Germany. Note the swastika flags in front of the building. It was produced by Postkarten-Industrie and measures 104 x 149 mm.

Lot #170 WMR - right, an original 90 x 140 mm Third Reich photographic postcard of the main entrance to the Wiener Messe, the fair/exhibition building of Vienna. Note the huge swastika banners and flags. This postcard was never mailed but has a green Leipziger Messe stamp on the back which was canceled at the Vienna fair in 1940. Good condition with two spots of glue/album residue on the back.

Lot #144 - a superb painting of a Panzerspähmann by Ernst Kretschmann was used by Verlag Heinrich Hoffmann to produce this 104 x 148 mm Nazi postcard. This card was sold at the Haus der Deutschen Kunst or House of German Art in Munich and it is their catalog number HDK 182. Note the Totenkopf-Kragenspiegel or skull and crossbones collar tab on the tank man!
Very good unused condition with a blank back. Absolutely original to the Third Reich period.
