Articles, photos and features are about the reunification of Austria with Hitler's Nazi Germany and Hitler's triumphant return to his homeland.  Superb photo content of Hitler in Braunau, in St. Pölten, at his parents' grave in Leonding, in Vienna, with Goering, Seyss-Inquart, Himmler, Bürckel, the Wehrmacht in Austria as well as an article about Ireland, Indian weddings and a double-page spread illustration of the newly opened Reichsautobahn rest stop at the Chiemsee between Munich and Salzburg.

The JB or Illustrierter Beobachter was the Nazi Party weekly photo newspaper published in München (Munich) by Verlag Franz Eher Nachfolger, but read by just about everybody, all over Germany. Each 10 x 14 inch issue contained about 24 pages of the very latest news, photographs and information gathered from around the world. The excellent paper was published every Thursday and sold for only 20 Reichspfennigs, the equivalent of 12 US cents.
