This is a wonderful, fine quality Nazi era Olympic souvenir, probably custom-made for a visitor to the 1936 Olympische Spiele or Olympic Games.

It is a Third Reich 13-flag silver charm bracelet with small but colorful hard-enameled national flags linked together. It is made of silver metal (most likely "German silver") and the enamel is definitely hard fired cloisonné, NOT painted enamel. Vendors of these beautiful bracelets at the time of the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, were able to assemble almost any combination of the little 6 x 12 mm cloisonné flags to make the bracelets in various lengths by increasing or reducing the number of flags included.

Laid out in a straight line the bracelet measures just over 7-1/4 inches (18.5 cm). The middle flag a Nazi swastika flag and the flag furthest away from the catch is the American flag. Other national flags include the British Union Jack, Norway, Switzerland, Spain, France, Greece, Chile, Argentina, and even Cuba.

A rare 84 year old Nazi Olympic Games souvenir in fine, lightly-used condition, exactly as shown. Over the years we have seen many 1936 Olympic souvenir scarves featuring the national flags of participating nations, but bracelets like this rarely come to the surface!
