Lot 402 - right, is a fine, unused original Third Reich Photo-Hoffmann photographic postcard showing LZ 129, Zeppelin Hindenburg during a landing with a crowd of people watching. 
Lot 401 -  "a Zeppelin air ship ready for take-off in front of the hangar"  is the title of this 87 x 138 mm Nazi photographic postcard.  It was mailed on 1 August 1939 from the Zeppelin airport at Frankfurt am Main.  The 33mm round pink rubber stamp in the center on the back is proof the card was a souvenir from a visit to the Zeppelin Halle at the Luftschiffhafen Rhein-Main.

Lot 405 -  the LZ 129 Hindenburg under construction is the subject of this 90 x142 mm photographic postcard produced by art publisger Gebrüder Metz of Tübingen.

It is a souvenir card purchased during a visit to the Zeppelin Works - note the rubber stamp in the center of the back. It has a blank back and is in very good condition, exactly as shown right and below.

Lot 403 - right, a fine real picture postcard of the LZ 129 Zeppelin Hindenburg in front of the hangar at the Luftschiffhafen Rhein-Main right next to the new Reichsautobahn, the new Nazi freeway between Frankfurt and Darmstadt. 

It was mailed on 2 February 1937 from Frankfurt to Brooklyn NY U.S.A. and the handwritten message in German contains birthday wishes.

The 91 x 139 mm card was produced by Verlag Emil Hartmann of Mannheim and it was their catalog number 1154.  In very nice used condition, exactly as shown above and left.

Lot 407 -   a Zeppelin with swastika markings on the tail fins is shown above Friedrichshafen on the Bodensee in southern Germany.  This 91 x140 mm RPPC produced by art publisher Max Mattes of Stuttgart was purchased as a souvenir at the Zeppelin Luftschiffwerft according to the pink rubber stamp on the back.  It was never mailed.

It is in very good condition, exactly as shown above and right.

Lot 408 -   the Graf Zeppelin is shown on this antique 87 x 137 mm photographic postcard. A grandmother mailed it from Friedrichshafen to her granddaughter in Portland, Oregon U.S.A. on 3 November 1928.  The English language handwritten message tells about witnessing the landing (after a 4 hour wait) and standing at the back of the gondola - marked with an X on the card.  She also mentions the great interest there was in Clarence Terhune, the 19 year old American stowaway that had been discovered on board the LZ 127!
This historical 92 year old 87 x 137 mm RPPC is in very nice condition with original red Immanuel Kant postage stamp which has a round Friedrichshafen Bodensee cancelation dated 3 November 1928.   Rare!

Lot 409 -   the Graf Zeppelin ready for departure is the title of this unused 89 x 139 mm German photographic postcard.  Note that it says RAUCHEN VERBOTEN or 'no smoking' in big letters on the hangar.  Produced by art publisher Gebrüder Metz of Tübingen, this card was never mailed. 
No writing on the back, only the blue rubber stamp showig this postcard was purchased as a souvenir of a visit to the Zeppelin Luftschiffwerft.  Condition exactly as shown above and right.

Lot 411 -  a fine original color postcard showing the Reichsmarineluftschiff protecting the German Baltic Coast, as painted by Professor Hans Rudolf Schulze.  This 90 x 139 mm German postcard was produced by the Deutscher Luftflotten-Verein and the purchase contributed to building a strong German Air Fleet. 

Mailed on 6 October 1915 to a Fräulein in Munich.  Very nice condition, exactly as shown right and below.
