We acquire a great many lots of material which include photo albums and loose Third Reich photographs. Some of the photos photo sets are entirely unrelated to other subject matter but are unique enough in their individual content to warrant listing them alone as separate lots for sale. Their appeal may be to historians, authors, publishers, TV program and motion picture producers, museums, highly specialized collectors, etc. If there is information on the back of photos we will mention it, but generally there is little else we can tell you about the who-where-when of the photos. A NSFK DAGGER
This 2-3/4 x 4 inch original Third Reich glossy deckle edged photo turned up in a pile of other photos but we include it here because of the dagger and pistol. This Ruski in his winter uniform seems to be pretty proud of his recently acquired Nazi dagger and pistol.

P165: right, an original Third Reich studio portrait of a young man wearing his Kriegsmarine uniform and sailor hat. This photograph measures 3-3/4 x 5-1/8 inches (93 x 131 mm) and is in very good condition. In pencil somebody wrote the name of the sailor on the back.

Pt DRK: left - a genuine Third Reich black & white photograph showing a large group of nurses and a doctor in a German Red Cross uniform in front of a building that has the Nazi eagle and swastika logo of the Deutsches Rotes Kreuz on it.
We can not decipher the rubber stamp in the upper right corner. The 3-1/2 x 5-1/8 inch photo has the name of a photographer in Vienna on the back and the handwritten date 8 July 1942.

P 126: right - two original Third Reich deckel edge photos of men with shovels working in the construction of the Reichsautobahn, Hitler's freeways. Both photographs measure 55 x 73 mm and both are in very good original condition, but were once glued in a photo album.

P144: - left, is a 4 x 5-1/2 inch studio portrait of a young soldier in a black Panzer wrap with matching cap and skulls and crossbones on the collar tabs. His nickname 'Peperl' is written on the back along with a dedication. Good condition.

W164: - right is the studio portrait of a well-decorated Luftwaffe Feldwebel and his wife. The Feldwebel has an Iron Cross 1st Class and Combat Badge and a specialty badge on his uniform. Name of the photographer embossed in the lower left corner. Measures 4 x 5-3/4 inches, in very good condition. Dedication and identification of the couple in pencil on the back.

NAZI CAVALRY SPIESS ON HORSEBACK
This is an outstanding 3-1/2 x 5-1/4 inch photo of a very squared away Wehrmacht Cavalry Spiess (Sergeant Major) on horseback. It is the best photo we have seen in years of a German NCO in a Reporting Uniform with both cuff bands visible. It belongs in a photo book on German Army uniforms somewhere. Has handwritten date 13 April 1940 and dedication in fountain pen on the back.

KM6: right - an original Third Reich photograph of a Kriegsmarine commander (Lt. Commander of the Line), Hermann Roth. He is wearing a War Merit Cross with swords, an EKII Spange and a Mine Sweeping War Badge. On the back it says "Onkel Hermann Roth (brother of Max)."

Pt 19c: left - a deckel edge photo of an elderly gentleman with three Nazi badges pinned on the lapel of his suit jacket. The top pin is a Nazi eagle and swastika and below that is his NSDAP badge. We can not tell what the third badge is. After the war his children probaly took a pen and tried to cover the Nazi Abzeichen!

This lot consists of two original Third Reich SS photos. The studio portrait on the right shows a young SS-Mann of SS Regiment "Deutschland" with three decorations on his uniform pocket: a golden Hitler Youth badge, a HJ Achievement badge and a rare 1932 Hitler Youth rally badge. He wears the early Deutschland Regiment shoulder boards on his uniform but without the matching trim on his collar. The photo is clearly dated 15 January 1940 on the back at Atelier Kiermayer, a photo studio in Munich.
The 2-1/4 x 2-3/4 inch deckle edge photo on the left shows an SS formation at the front gate of the SS-Junkerschule at Bad Tölz in southern Bavaria. Rare original SS photos - condition exactly as shown.
