Items made by artists from the antlers of large deer, moose and stag have always been popular in Germany, but never more popular than during the Third Reich of Adolf Hitler.

This excellent 9-1/4 x 12 inch, very, very heavily illustrated 68 page, undated soft cover catalog published by the firm of Eberhard Melches in the town Bestwig in the Arnsberger Forest near Warstein, Germany is absolutely crammed with beautiful illustrations of every imaginable kind of antler item from jack knives and hunting daggers to beer steins, smoking stands, coat racks, clocks, desk sets, lamps, chairs, chandeliers, signs, etc. A rare book in very good condition.

This is an excellent example of the 1937 edition of Das gute Deutsche Werkzeug für alle Berufe (Fine German Tools for all Trades), a splendidly illustrated 5-7/8 x 8-1/4 inch, 96 page catalog of every kind of German tool from wood planes and saws to anvils, files, drills, measuring devices, automotive equipment, horse and blacksmith equipment, wrenches, torches, pliers, hammers, brushes, hatches, shovels, garden tools, etc.

Every tool in the Westfalia-Werkzeugcompany catalog is priced in Reichsmarks.

Just knowing the proper Third Reich German name for these old tools makes this catalog worth owning! Fine condition, with order forms.

This is a great example of a rare and unusual Third Reich German catalog. It is the 6-3/4 x 9-7/8 inch, 56 page, very, very heavily illustrated 1939 soft cover catalog from Ullrich & Co. of Leipzig, Germany, showing and explaining all of their German made toilets, pissoirs of every type from single “buckets” to wall units of any desired length, wash basins, washing stands, drinking fountains, portable showers, water heaters, bathtubs, refrigerators, sinks, etc.

A most interesting feature of this catalog is that while the fixtures sold by Ullrich & Co. were common to many German universities, sports facilities, the barracks of Reichsautobahn workers and factories, these are also precisely the same communal washing and toilet fixtures used in every Nazi prison and concentration camp. They are still there today in the buildings preserved at concentration camps like Dachau, Mauthausen, Auschwitz, Birkenau, etc.

This rare Third Reich era catalog is in very good condition and comes with extra inserts.
