This is a very rare piece of consumer advertising material circulated in Nazi Germany in 1939 onward. It is a nice example of the 5-3/4 x 8-1/2 inch, 28 page, heavily illustrated softcover catalog of foul weather gear including motorcycle riding suits, raincoats, rain jackets, rain hats, leg and shoe covers, etc. manufactured by the firm Klepper-Werke of Kufstein.

Klepper's flotation products had been extremely successful for German athletes participating in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin bringing home two gold medals, two silver medals and two bronze Olympic medals for Germany. This 1939 catalog does not cover those outdoor products made at their Rosenheim factory, but covers the consumer foul weather gear product line completely.

This catalog was printed for the Klepper retail show room on the Opera Ring in downtown Vienna, the second largest city in Nazi Germany.

When World War II began in September 1939 production of the Klepper company was immediately switched to meet military needs of Nazi Germany, so this was their last consumer catalog. Complete with a body measurement postcard and in very nice used condition.
