This is a nice original example of the huge 10-1/2 x 14-1/2 inch, 128 page very, very heavily illustrated softcover publication Unser Führer (Our Leader) as published by Franz Eher Nachfolger of München (Munich), Germany in 1939.

The Eher firm was owned by the Nazi Party and they published millions of copies of Adolf Hitler's book Mein Kampf as well as the giant NSDAP daily newspaper, the Völkischer Beobachter in Berlin, Wien and München editions.

This oversized publication was created for the Illustrierter Beobachter newspaper as a special edition to be sold on the occasion and as a commemorative of the 50th birthday celebration for Adolf Hitler, on 20 April 1939.

Unser Führer examines the life-work and genius of Hitler with photo essays on subjects as diverse as the Builder of the Greater German Reich, the Leader of the NSDAP, the Man in the Brown Shirt, the Loyal Comrade, the Speaker, the Soldier, the Artist, the Provider of Work and Bread, the Highway Builder, the Friend of the Worker, the Friend of the Farmer, the Friend of Sports, the Educator of the Nation, the Protector of Race, the Statesman, the Liberator of the Saarland, Rheinland, Austria and Sudetenland, etc., etc.

This superb 83 year old Third Reich photo publication Unser Führer is complete and in nice used condition. No writing, no repairs, no odor.
