This is a lot of five 100% original Third Reich color postcards of Gebirgsjäger or Wehrmacht mountain troops. The color photos of Nazi Gebirgsjäger are by Heinz von Perckhammer, a World War I sailor who became a well-known photojournalist (fasion & nudes) and photographer (LZ127 Graf Zeppelin). During World War II he served as a war photographer attached to the Waffen-SS.

The cards were produced by Kunstverlag E.A. Schwerdtfeger & Co. AG Berlin, the same company that published the well-known Unsere Waffen-SS postcard series.

The five cards offered are number 9533, 9534, 9535, 9536 and 9538 and measure 4-1/8 x 5-3/4 inches (105 x 148 mm).

These fine color postcards were never mailed but all five have tiny bits of black paper on back as they were once pasted in an album, exactly as shown in the photo below. Otherwise in excellent condition, with bright colors and no fading.
