It is the Official Program for the Internationale Eifelrennen 1939 für Motorräder, Sport- und Rennwagen (International Eifel Races of 1939 for Motorcycles, Sports Cars and Race Cars) under the auspices of the Oberste Nationale Sportbehörde für die Kraftfahrt in cooperation with the NSKK Motor Group Westmark on 21 May 1939 on the roads of the Nürburgring.

There are a couple of pages at the front about who runs Germany and who runs the racing program at the Nürburgring. There are pages of maps of the Nürburgring and an explanation of motor racing in Germany in general, the companies involved, and pictures of German and Italian drivers (Erwin Kraus, Karl Gall, Walfried Winkler, Walter Hamelehle, Heiner Fleischmann, Ewald Kluge, Tazio Nuvolari, Hans Stuck, Hermann Müller, Georg Meier, Ulrich Bigalke, Hans-Hugo Hartmann, Richard Seaman, Hermann Lang, Manfred von Brauchitsch, Rudolf Caracciola, Heinz Dipper, Leonhard Joa, W. Briem, U. Richter, P. Greifzu, F. Warneck, P. Heinemann, H. Polensky, and others).

The German Meisterschaft for 1939 is explained between pages of beautiful period advertising and photos taken along the race course. The program provides a world of information about the racing and prize categories, the cost for running your own ride on the Nürburgring and a long list of the victors of Nürburgring races between 1932 and 1938.
The starting line-up for the 1939 races is given with forms provided to keep track of who won in all the various race categories. There is also a couple of pages explaining the deportment expected of race fans and the police laws regarding racing on German roads.
Among the advertisers are Opel, Ford, Audi, DKW, Horch, Wanderer, Mercedes-Benz, beer companies, newspapers, Coca Cola (and their ALL-GERMAN competitor Africola) and automotive product manufacturers.
This 73 year old 5-7/8 x 8-1/8 inch, 56 page German racing program has beautiful color covers and is in excellent, little used condition. Absolutely original to the Third Reich period.
Everybody knows that automobile and motorcycle racing was a very big deal under the NSKK in the National Socialist Germany of Adolf Hitler, but little evidence of it remains today beyond a few race cars in museums. This is an actual piece of motor racing history from that period.
This rare 1939 Nazi Eifelrennen race program is **SOLD**.
