This is a very nice bright red hardcover First Edition of Hitlers Wollen - nach Kernsätzen aus Seinen Schriften und Reden. The title and subtitle translates as “Hitler’s Will: Key Sentences from his Writing and Speeches”. This material was assembled by German author Werner Siebarth and published by Zentralverlag der NSDAP (Central Publishing House of the Nazi Party) Franz Eher of Munich in 1935.

Subjects covered in this rare book are the National Socialist State, its foreign policy, its armed forces, its views on race and population (see quotes below), education, etc. Quotations also cover finance, industry and the economy, literature, architecture, Jews, art (including “racial art”), sport, propaganda, culture, law, religion and destiny. All of it in Adolf Hitler’s own words during the years 1922 to 1935.

In the back is a very detailed source and keyword index, as well as advertising for other “definitive National Socialist works” published by the Central Publishing House of the Nazi Party by authors such as Alfred Rosenberg, Dr. Joseph Goebbels, Gottfried Feder, Dr. Otto Dietrich, Kurt Daluege, even Leni Riefenstahl.

This example of Hitlers Wollen came from the library of the NSDAP Ortsgruppe St. Johannis in Nürnberg, Gau Franken where it was book number NS54. This number was handwritten above the round red rubber stamp of the NSDAP Ortsgruppe St. Johannis on the front fly leaf. St. Johannis is a section of downtown Nürnberg, the City of Nazi Party Days in Julius Streicher’s Gau Franken. Any prospective purchaser might be interested to know that we acquired this First Edition 1935 book in a grouping of a dozen or so rare Third Reich publications that were ‘liberated’ shortly after the end of World War II by an American Army Captain working in an office that had been occupied during the Third Reich by staff of Ortsgruppe Nürnberg-St. Johannis.

This 86 year old 6-¼ x 8-¾ inch, 274-page hardcover example of Hitlers Wollen is in very good condition. It was conserved decades ago, but we doubt it was ever read! Its red linen cover is in very nice condition as is the white and black blocking on the front cover and spine. It has no odor.
