Reichsarbeitsdienst-Pass für die Weibliche Jugend

This is an original 5-3/4 x 8-1/4 inch (folds to 4-1/8 x 5-3/4 inches) 4-panel identification document for an Arbeitsmaid of the Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD or Nazi State Labor Service).

The owner of this Reichsarbeitsdienst-Paß of the Reichsarbeitsdienst für die Weibliche Jugend (RAD for Young Women) was pretty young Anna Sevin of München (Munich) who was born on 29 October 1922 in München. Labor service was obligatory for young Germans and Anna Sevin served hers from January 1940 through October 1942. She worked at different locations, but ended her RAD service at the Augsburg Straßenbahn, the public transportation system in the city of Augsburg, Bavaria.

Her service data was attested to on page 3 of her Reichsarbeitsdienst-Paß. Sevin officially finished her obligatory RAD service on 31 March 1942. This Reichsarbeitsdienst-Paß is complete with the original photograph and data and is an excellent example of the type.
