This is an original monthly company magazine published for employees of IG Farbenindustrie. It is the April 1938 LEVERKUSEN Ausgabe or edition of Von Werk zu Werk (From Factory to Factory). The enormous German industrial-chemical conglomerate IG Farbenindustrie of Frankfurt am Main was able to claim many famous international brand names among the products it manufactured. Everything from Agfa film and still and motion picture cameras, to Bayer aspirin, cellophane, dye, gasoline and even Buna rubber.

The 8-¼ x 11-¾ inch, 24 page heavily illustrated magazines has articles about the huge international chemical industry that IG Farben was a huge player in, Leuna-Treibgas produced by IG Farben, rail cars powered by Hydronalium, the reunification of Austria with Nazi Germany, the IG Farben presence at the Leipziger Trade Fair, the navigation skills of KdF sea captains, company news, two obituaries for former officers and chemists of IG Farben, and some short stories.

A lot of information about IG Farbenindustrie is available online but the company's activities in the construction and operation of the Nazi Auschwitz Concentration Camp and their production of Zyklon B during World War II are probably what most people remember about IG Farben. As a result of the notoriety of the company very few of these magazines have survived into the 21st century. This rare example is complete and in very good used condition.
