This is a very nice hard cover example of the highly acclaimed book Sieg Heil!. The subtitle describes the book perfectly: “An Illustrated History of Germany from Bismarck to Hitler”. The 9-¾ x 12-¾ inch book comes with its original dust jacket which uses a colorized version of an original black & white montage of three German political leaders (Hitler, Bismarck and Kaiser Wilhelm II) that first appeared in the 21 August 1932 issue of Arbeiter Illustrierte Zeitung in Berlin.
In superb photos and text Sieg Heil! covers the rise and fall of Nazi Germany, but leads up to it depicting the Bismarck era, the Franco-Prussian War of 1871, the era of Kaiser Wilhelm I and Wilhelm II which led to World War I and the Weimar Republic.
The photo content is fantastic, and many of the images were never seen before the publication of Sieg Heil! in 1974.
This 352-page hardcover example was printed in the USA and is in very nice used condition with a tight spine and no odor. The original dust jacket is taped along the top edge.

Stefan Lorant was a historian as well as a participant in the early phase of the Hitler Movement as he lived in Munich and knew Hitler and many other Nazi personalities personally.
