Nazi swastika
1938 AUSTRIAN / GERMAN REUNIFICATION
An interesting one-sided piece of philatelic material measuring 96 x 124 mm, produced to commemorate the Anschluss or reunification of Austria with Hitler's Großdeutschland or Greater Germany on 10 April 1938. Note the "Austria Returns Home!" banner under the swastika at the top.

While a special Ein Volk • Ein Reich • Ein Führer postage stamp was issued to commemorate the event, this item still has an Austrian stamp! It was canceled in Wien (Vienna) on 10 April 1938. On that day Vienna became the second largest city of Greater Germany.

BRIEFMARKEN
Left, an unused 105x 147 mm cream and green philatelic sheet of the special 4-up 6 Pfennig Führer postage stamp. "To rescue a nation, one can only think heroically" it says below the four green Hitler stamps.

This would make a perfect companion piece to the original 1937 Nazi post office poster announcing the availablility of these stamps. In like-new condition.

NSDAP GAU TAG ENVELOPE 1938

A 4-5/8 x 7 inch cream colored envelope postmarked on the 9th of November 1938, and bearing two Gautheater Saarpfalz postage stamps and one red 12+38 Pfennig Adolf Hitler stamps. The stamps were canceled in Weimar in October and November of 1938 during the Week of German Books. One of the cancelations is for the Gau Tag of the NSDAP in Thüringen and shows a Deutschland Erwache banner. Opened on the right end.

NSDAP Gau Tag Envelope 1938
Hoheitszeichen
KRAKAU POLAND
NOVEMBER 1939
The 103 x 152 mm collector item on the left was produced to commemorate the beginning of the German Generalgouvernement of Occupied Poland in November 1939. The green WHW postage stamp has a Krakau 7 November 1939 cancelation with the words Amtsantritt des Generalgouvernements above a picture of the beautiful city of Crakow.

Excellent original condition. $19.00 delivered in the USA.

1941 VIENNA POLICE -
REICHSSTATTHALTER
ENVELOPE

This is a 125 x 175 mm envelope that was sent by the President of Police in Vienna (the 2nd largest city in Greater Germany) to the Reichsstatthalter of Vienna, Baldur von Schirach (who was also Leader of the HJ) on 10 September 1941. The envelope is empty and has two holes on the right hand side.

STAMP DAY
ENVELOPE
MUNICH 1939
This is quite a colorful 4-1/2 x 6-3/8 inch unused but canceled envelope commemorating the 45th German Stamp Collecting Days on 3 and 4 June 1939 in München (Munich), Germany. It bears a “Munich - Capital of the [Nazi] Movement” cancelation and in the lower left corner, the Nazi influenced coat-of-arms of the city of München.
This specific envelope is depicted in the book German Print Advertising 1933 - 1945 by Ray & Josephine Cowdery. Very good condition, $25.00 delivered in the USA.
NSDAP Gauleitung Hessen-Nassau
NAZI PARTY ENVELOPE GAU HESSEN-NASSAU
This is a very nice 4-7/8 x 6 inch used envelope mailed on 9 September 1935 from the Nazi Party Gau Leadership of Hessen-Nassau in Frankfurt on the Main river to the NSDAP Employment Office in Worms on the Rhein river. Plenty of official Nazi stamps in red including the eagle and swastika. A tiny bit of the top edge was cut off to remove the contents.
