In the extremely anti-Jewish introduction to the book, Julius Streicher claims that when people get ill, they quite logically eliminate the cause of the illness. When populations get infected, the cause of the problem must be removed from the infected members of society, and in Streicher’s view the Judengift or the Jewish poison is infecting our world and must be eliminated. He says the Jewish bacteria devouring the world population can only be eliminated if people are aware of the nature of the cause, and according to Streicher, this book is a helpful tool. He says the book is filled with valuable truths and a wealth of in-depth information, and it deserves the attention of all ‘searchers’.

The 6 x 8-¾ inch 236-page hardcover book is about the urgent need for a solution to the Jewish problem in Germany.

We recently purchased a large number of Third Reich books from the estate of an American Officer who held a very responsible position in the US Army in Bavaria after the end of World War II. He worked in Nuremberg and Munich, and many of the books we acquired have the stamp of the office of the Kassenleiter (Treasurer) of NSDAP Ortsgruppe St. Johannis in Nürnberg. St. Johannis was a section of northwest downtown Nürnberg, the City of Nazi Party Days in Frankenführer and Gauleiter Julius Streicher’s Gau Franken. The US Army Officer worked in the building that once housed the office of the NSDAP Ortsgruppe St. Johannis, and the American Officer helped himself to many of the books in the Ortsgruppe library, and other historical National Socialist items. In retrospect, this was a fortunate thing for history and historians as much of what he “liberated” would have no doubt been destroyed either by American de-Nazification authorities or by the postwar German government.

The extremely rare and anti-Jewish Nazi book we offer on this USMBOOKS web page is Der Jude als Verbrecher (Jews as Criminals) written by Josef Keller and Dr. Hanns Andersen. It has an introduction by Frankenführer and Gauleiter Julius Streicher (shown in the reference photo below), the publisher of extremely anti-Jewish Nazi books such as Der Giftpilz and Trau keinem Fuchs, and the notorious newspaper Der Stürmer. Der Jude als Verbrecher was published in 1937 by the SS publishing house Nibelungen-Verlag of Berlin and this is a near-perfect example that still has its rare and original Third Reich dust jacket.

Using many different sources, Der Jude als Verbrecher takes the position that Jews are fundamentally crooked, always prone to fraud, racketeering, extortion, sexual misconduct, petty theft and treason, and that they not only perpetrate such crimes, but that they are also the beneficiaries of those crimes. The Jew is fundamentally and basically by nature criminal, according to this book, and its purpose was to convince the German reader to adopt that same point of view.

The flaps of the dust jacket provide an overview of why this book was written and the reason that SS publishing house Nibelungen Verlag decided to publish it as well as a catalog of 16 other very controversial Nibelungen Verlag books that were widely available in Nazi Germany.

This extremely rare and controversial black linen bound hardcover book is in excellent, little-used condition, has no odor. Even the original dust jacket is in nice used condition for its 80+years of age.

We will be happy to supply the buyer of this book with a Certificate of Authenticity covering the remarkable origins of it, and the name and position of the GI that acquired it in Nürnberg and brought it back to America.

This 84 year old example of Der Jude als Verbrecher has the property stamp of the Treasurer of NSDAP Ortsgruppe St. Johannis in Nürnberg on the front flyleaf, and the Ortsgruppe’s library inventory number written on the dust jacket and front flyleaf.

The rare hardcover book also has 24 pages of photos printed on high-quality glossy paper. They are of communists (including Leo Bronstein, better known as Trotsky), influential Jewish lawyers, Jewish imposters, Jewish intellectuals, corrupt Jewish businessmen and bankers, the former Police chief of the Reichshauptstadt Berlin, Bernhard "Isidor" Weiss, Caféhaus Juden (coffee shop Jews), Jewish sexual predators and sex offenders, murderers (including pictures of David Frankfurther who murdered Wilhelm Gustloff, and the tattooed Ali Höhler who murdered Horst Wessel - shown above right).

The chapters cover statistics about Jews in the criminal world and in politics; the book describes language of Jewish Hustlers, the Trotsky Trial in Moscow, the Style of Jewish ‘Fencers’ and Thieves, Jewish Imposters, Jewish Profiteers, Ghetto Jews and Business Jews, Panderers and Human Traffickers, and Rasputin.

Few Germans wanted to have this extremely anti-Jewish Nazi book in their living room bookcase as the end of the Third Reich drew near, so few examples survived and most of those that did were destroyed when the Allied de-Nazification process sought them out for destruction at the end of World War II. This example is very rare, especially with its original dust jacket and in this near-unread condition.
