This is a lot of four rare old photographs from the early 1950s depicting a suitcase full of personal property of Nazi Führer Adolf Hitler which his Munich housekeeper, Anni Winter, had stashed away.
The small suitcases contained a silver framed photo of Hitler, Hitler's
Heimat-Schein (Proof of Residence), his
NSDAP Ausweis number 1, his passport (containing proof of his travel abroad), his weapon permit, military pass, Army
Soldbuch, a gold watch, the Hindenburg / Hitler signed appointment certificate of Hitler as Chancellor of the
Reich, three Nazi Party pins, six eagle and swastika pins, four different versions of Hitler's book
Mein Kampf, cabinet card photos of Alois and Klara Hitler, etc., etc.
The smaller of two pictures of the items has the photo caption attached to the back and we show it for reference. That small picture was retouched for use in a German newspaper or magazine in the early 1950s.
