This is a completely original 3-1/2 inch Nazi bisque Hitler table medallion. The thick two-sided, high relief off-white medallion is beautifully made of porcelain material and features a very realistic image of the right profile Adolf Hitler’s face surrounded by the words ADOLF HITLER - UNSER FÜHRER • 1889 • 20 APRIL • 1939 (Adolf Hitler - Our Leader) inside a gold ring on the obverse. Below Hitler’s collar the relief is initialed K.S.E.

On the reverse are the raised words:

(The School Youth of Nürnberg • Dedicated 20 April 1939 By The Lord Mayor of the City of State Party Days).

The semicircular notch at the top is provided for hanging the piece.

Apparently, the Lord Mayor dedicated a similar but probably larger plaque to the children of the city, and this was a memento given to notable attendees at the event.

Most of the original gold ring on the front remains. The seldom seen medallion is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks.
