This 8 x 8-½ inch Third Reich folio is Volume 3 called Schattenfall - Vekehrs- und Industrieanlagen (Shadows, Traffic and Industrial Facilities) and contains its 10 original glossy photographs produced from negatives each measuring 7-7/8 x 8-1/4 inches. The educational photos show cities and railroads, industrial complexes, rivers and harbors from the air from various angles and altitudes so Wehrmacht students could be properly instructed about what to look for.
The folio has a specific serial number or control number * 098307 and the images all bear the same serial number on the back, and each has copyright and RLM release data at the bottom.
1942 Nazi RLM photos of industrial facilities
In August 1942, the Film and Picture Department of the Reichsluftfahrtministerium (RLM or Nazi Air Ministry) in Berlin produced this folio to teach members of the Wehrmacht and students at higher education facilities to read Luftbilder or aerial photos.

This rare example of Schul-Kernreihe Luftbildlesen Folge 3 Schattenfall - Vekehrs- und Industrieanlagen is complete with all 10 images in the original folio. The photos are in excellent shape, the original 78 year old dark tan card stock folder is in nice used condition. No odor.
