This 5-½ x 8-½ inch, 212 page bold hardcover example of Unsere Weltanschauung was published in 1941 by the SS Publishing House Nordland Verlag of Berlin and printed by Graphischer Großbetrieb Deutsche Rundschau in Bromberg.

A rare 79 year old Nazi book in very nice condition, no odor.

Weltanschauung literally translates as "View of the World", but "Philosophy of the World" is more accurate. During the Third Reich it meant the National Socialist Philosophy of Life, or the Nazi-German concept of the world. Unsere Weltanschauung (Our Philosophy of the World) was written by Harry Griessdorf who dedicated the book to his six children.

The in-depth Third Reich book has a preface by Alfred Rosenberg, in which the Reichsleiter stressed the positive outcome of the unpopular measures that had to be taken by the Nazi government early on. He also stated that if one did not understand the driving power of National Socialist philosophy, one could not understand the essentials of life in Nazi Germany. National Socialism would not have succeeded with only laws; a complete National Socialist philosophy of life was necessary.
