NAZI KEILHOSE OR WOOL TROUSERS - NOS
A NEW-OLD-STOCK NEVER USED PAIR OF
WOOL WEHRMACHT PANTS OR TROUSERS
This NOS pair of wool Wehrmacht trousers is **SOLD**. We will be happy to ship abroad at additional cost. Please inquire. |
This is a brand-new-old-stock pair of wool Wehrmacht trousers that came out of the same cardboard box as the Waffen-SS uniform, the Luftwaffe uniform and other miscellaneous Third Reich items we purchased recently. The lot had been accumulated by a single GI in Europe near the end of World War II and had not been touched since he brought it home in 1945. None of the items have ever been in the hands of a collector or messed with by a dealer.
These exact trousers are very well depicted and described on page 375 in chapter 7 of the Michael D. Beaver book UNIFORMS OF THE WAFFEN-SS. They are German Army m./43 wool trousers sometimes referred to as Keilhose because of the tapered legs.
They have a 4-button fly and buttoned slash pockets on the front as well as a small flapped buttoned watch pocket beneath a nickel plated metal ring for a watch chain. Each side has a tab and shiny blued steel buckle (not painted) for adjusting the waist of the pants. There is a single buttoned pocket on the right side in the rear. The entire seat is reinforced on both sides. Huge belt loops (two on the front and two on the back)make it possible to wear a standard military belt and buckle with these
trousers.
Inside the white cotton lining is marked RB Nr. [first two digits behind the button] 5520503 86 88 121 102 m./43.
The waist measures 31 inches (79 cm) and the inseam measures 35 inches (89 cm). Each leg has a stirrup at the bottom with ties that fit through specially made holes on the open side of the leg to facilitate wearing of pull-on boots.
CONDITION: These 64+ year old Nazi pants are in perfect condition, exactly as issued during the Third Reich. They have never been worn or laundered. They have no wear, rips, tears or moth holes in them. We can not even imagine upgrading from this pair of trousers.
