Die Gliederungen der Deutschen Wehrmacht (The Organization and Leadership of the Branches of the German Armed Forces) was written by Dr. Jur. Helmut Paetzold, a member of the German Association for Military Politics and Military Science. This 4th expanded edition from 1937 was published by Friedrich M. Hörhold Verlag of Leipzig and has 32 pages.

The Army section for example covers the infantry, cavalry, artillery, tank and other motorized troops, engineers, communication and medical troops. The Navy section covers the fleet in the Baltic Sea and North Sea, and the Air Force section has information about the RLM (Reichsluftfahrtministerium or the Nazi Air Ministry of Hermann Goering), Luftwaffe airplanes and formations, Flak Artillery and Luftwaffe Communication troops.

The pocket-size book has very detailed chapters that explain the different branches of the Wehrmacht (Heer, Kriegsmarine, Luftwaffe or Army, Navy, Air Force), their Commanders, their individual departments, uniform colors and Waffenfarben, etc., etc.
