This is an absolutely original 2-1/8 x 1-1/2 inch, two-part silver badge of the Nationalsozialistische Flieger Korps (NSFK or National Socialist Flying Corps). It was produced for the 1938 Reichsflugwettbewerb (State Flying Competition) of NSFK Bodenleitstelle Berlin (NSFK Control Station Berlin).
The heavy pin back badge is filled on the front side with medium blue hard-fired cloisonné enamel (like glass - not paint). As you can see from our photographs, this rare badge is not damaged in any way and is in very good condition.
