The educational publication has 17 pictures and 9 charts and maps, and is Volume 6 of the Hirts Deutsche Sammlung series of educational German publications of the Nazi period.

The name of the original owner, Margot Hering, is handwritten on the title page and she also made a few erasable pencil notes on page 5.

Published by Ferdinand Hirt Verlag of Breslau in 1933 and printed in Leipzig, Die nationalsozialistische Revolution has 152 pages plus additional 5 x 7-½ inch pages advertising other publications by Hirt Verlag. This 90 year old Nazi book is complete with its striking original dust jacket and is in very nice used condition. No odor.

Chapters cover World War I history, the Treaty of Versailles, the Weimar Republic era, the reunification of the Rhineland and industrial Ruhr with Germany, the rise of the Nazi Movement, the national elections in 1932 and 1933, and the Day of Potsdam (21 March 1933), and the re-opening of the Parliament following the Reichstag fire. The Enabling Act of 1933 and the start of the National Socialist changes in Nazi Germany are outlined in the last two chapters.
