Schwester Pia, Sister Pia, Nazi Blood Order

This is a 100% original Third Reich Hoffmann photo portrait of Schwester Pia in Munich, wearing her Nazi Blood Order and Yellow Cross brooch (from the Roman Catholic charitable order Gelbes Kreuz). Sister Pia (Eleonore Bauer 7 September 1885 – 18 May 1981), was a strong supporter of Adolf Hitler and a founding member of the Nazi Party who participated in the Nazi Putsch in Munich on 9 November 1923. She was the first woman to receive the Blutorden der SA.

The caption under the portrait photo translates as:

Sister Pia of Munich who as a nurse, side-by-side with SA men, participated in all street- and hall battles during the [Nazi] battle years. For this the Führer awarded her the Honor Medal of 9 November 1923. She is the first woman who is allowed to wear the Blood Order of the SA.

This authentic Third Reich one-sided 20 x 26 cm (7-¾ x 10-¼ inch) print was carefully saved since the end of World War II and is in very nice condition. Not faded, no pin holes, no tears, no odor.
