This lot consists of a Nazi era set of 2-3/4 x 3-5/8 inch view cards of München, the Capital of the Nazi Movement. Each of the 15 separate deckel-edged photographic cards has an accurate description of the pictured scene printed on the back. These are not cards reproduced by a printing process, they are photos printed from a negative. They were published by Carl Krueck in München (Munich), Germany.

The cards show all the famous sites in München: the Nazi Honor Temples and the coffins of the martyrs, the House of German Art, the Führerbau and NSDAP Verwaltungsbau, the Siegestor, Hofbräuhaus, Nymphenburg Palace, the Rathaus on the Marienplatz, the Odeonplatz with the Feldherrnhalle (site of the failed 1923 Nazi Beerhall Putsch), the Kriegerdenkmal, Bavaria Monument, the Army Museum, the Frauenkirche, etc., etc.

The yellowish paper folder is scotch taped on the inside, and the photos are in absolutely excellent condition.
