This magnificent medal bar measuring over 6 inches in length and was professionally mounted during the Third Reich and is in excellent condition. The Nazi medals on the bar are:

a 1939 Iron Cross Second Class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse), a War Merit Cross with Swords (Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwerten), a Winter War in the East 41/42 medal (Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/42 or Ostmedaille) and Return of Sudetenland and Austria medals (Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 13. März 1938 and Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938 mit Spange).

Our photos show the front and back so that any potential buyer can see every detail clearly. The original medals are very much in the condition they were in when they were mounted over 75 years ago with the exception of the natural patina of aging which is more obvious on some that on others.

This original Third Reich medal bar, purchased in Europe from a private party over two decade ago, has never before been owned by a militaria dealer or collector and it has never been to a MAX, SoS Show or other militaria show.

As most of our customers know, we rarely sell Nazi era medals because we will only sell those which we know for certain were in use during the Third Reich. There is not the slightest question about this medal bar.
