This original multi-color Nazi map was printed by the Velhagen & Klasing map company of Bielefeld and Leipzig in 1940 and is called Der Mittelmeerraum mit Angaben über Flottenstützpunkte, kriegswichtige Bodenschätze und machtpolitische Zusammenhänge (The Mediterranean with Naval Bases, Strategic Resources and Political Associations).

Unfolded it measures approximately 36 x 42 inches and it covers western and eastern Europe, Denmark, the British Isles, parts of the the Soviet Union, Turkey, Greece, Syria, Palestine, Iran, Irak, Malta, Crete, Cyprus and North Africa.   Austria, Czechoslovakia and most of Poland are shown as part of the Greater German Reich. The Generalgouvernement is shown in light pink.

This 75+ year old Third Reich color map is in very good used condition. The colors are bright, no scotch tape, no odor. Scale 1 : 5 000 000.
