This is a beautiful Third Reich book with superb illustrations on nearly every page showing spectacular examples of the art printing fabric from throughout history, around the world. Some of the illustrations are so accurate that they actually utilize metallic inks in the printing of replicas of pages of this book. The hard covers are actually wrapped in an authentic example of the fabric printer’s art.
This fine 80+ year old example of Bunter Traum auf gewebtem Grund - aus der Wunderwelt des Stoffdrucks is in very good condition and this rare, unusual Third Reich book has no unpleasant odor.

This is a beautiful example of the very rare 6-3/4 x 9-1/4 inch, 160 page hardcover book Bunter Traum auf gewebtem Grund - aus der Wunderwelt des Stoffdrucks (Colorful Dream on Woven Material - From the Wonder World of Fabric Printing) by Karl Kasper as published by Otto Elsner Verlagsgesellschaft in Berlin.

This special edition was presented as a gift to customers of the 130 year old Ruhrgebiet fabric manufacturer, Heinrich Habig (Heinrich Habig Aktiengesellschaft Stoffdruckerei) in the fall of 1938.
