This is a unique item that would be of special interest to any collector of German uniforms or fieldgear.
It is a patented collapsible German boot jack made and sold during the Third Reich period.

|
The item is made from several pieces of wood with a sliding steel collar, and in the stowed position it measures about 3 x 7-1/2 inches. When the wooden arms are extended and the collar is slid forward to lock them in place, it measures about 3-3/4 x 11 inches. It is in this position that it is used for the removal of the tall leather boots worn by Wehrmacht and SS Officers. |
