This is an authentic original 8-1/4 x 14-1/2 inch sheet of sixteen 3-1/2% bearer bond coupons, serial number 72858 with redemption dates between 16 November 1945 and 16 May 1953. The sheet was beautifully printed and embossed with eagles and swastikas by the Reichsdruckerei in Berlin in 1942 to help finance World War II. These bonds were never redeemed but one of these days the current governmentof Germany may decide to call them in!
