In German, the principle material from which these items are manufactured is ,,Aluminium gespinst or spun aluminum. That is, aluminum threads woven in such a way as to present a bright, flexible metallic surface.
The two items we offer here were purchased by us years ago in Germany, used, in the original manufacturers green chipboard box.
Neither item has been altered or messed with in any way. The condition of both is very good.

The Nazi Army Officers dress uniform belt measures 1-3/4 inches wide by 37 inches in length and is covered on the outside by a silver brocade strip with two parallel green stripes. The inside is lined with grey-green wool gabardine and has nine eyelets in it for adjusting the length. The frosted grey metal buckle is diestruck of aluminum in an exceptionally high-quality die. The buckle is unmarked, probably because it was made under contract for the uniform company that retailed it. There is a small amount of wear to the inside cloth of the right side belt loop where it rubbed on the brocade of the pointed tip of the belt while being worn. |

Wear to the bottom edge cloth in the back center of the belt (most likely a result of riding seated in an automobile) is shown in one of our pictures. |
|
The Nazi Officers dress uniform ,,Achselband or brocade shoulder lanyard (some collectors incorrectly refer to these using the French word aiguillette) is in exceptional, original used condition.
The long side measures 31 inches from the buttonhole and the short side measures 23 inches from the buttonhole.

The shape of the buttonhole shows that it has been used, but the finish on the spun metal cords and metal tips show virtually no wear whatsoever. |

This identical Achselband was also worn on the Parade, Full Dress and Walking-out uniforms of officers of the SS and Waffen-SS. Karl Wolff, Sepp Dietrich and Heinrich Himmler liked them, and were often photographed wearing one on their uniform. |
