This lot consists of two glossy photo prints made on contact with very large 8 x 10 negatives so the sharpness and detail is as good as that of the negatives. These photos of the jet-powered fighter aircraft Me 262 Schwalbe (swallow) and rocket-powered interceptor Me 163 measure 8-¼ x 10 inches each.

We bought these excellent quality prints from the estate of a United States Army Officer who served in Germany in the late 1960s and very early 1970s but there is no doubt in our mind that the prints were made in the U.S.A. showing captured Nazi aircraft, while he was in the service.
