This is an excellent example of the rare 8-1/4 x 11 inch, 96 page hard cover Nazi book Donnernde Motoren (Thundering Motors) by Wolf Strache as published by Der Tatzelwurm Verlag in Stuttgart in 1942. It is one of the very best examples of illustrated aviation material produced in Germany during the Third Reich. The focus of the book is entirely on aircraft and its associated equipment and personnel, from pilots to paratroopers to flak crews, ground crews, mechanics, gunners, etc. to the airplanes themselves.
The huge, sharp, perfectly shot photos show fighters, bombers, observasion, waterbased and other planes from the Me109 and the Fieseler Storch to the Heinkels and Stukas of the Luftwaffe. There is even a photo of the marching band of the Luftwaffe Regiment General Göring.
If you have an interest in the Nazi German Luftwaffe, its equipment and its personnel, these images are about as good as it gets. Excellent used condition.
