This is a unique visual approach to German history in the form of a accordion folded pocket / wall chart measuring 4-3/4 x 52 inches. It starts with the Saxon War and Karl the Great in the year 800 and ends with Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich extending all the way to the year 2000!

Each century occupies a 4 x 4-3/4 inch panel of the 8-color chart, and listed on each panel are the social, political and military milestones as well as rulers, wars, technologies and the lifespans of notable Germans.

There were persecutions of Jews, inquisitions and revolts in the early years, and of course, the establishment of the NSDAP and the Third Reich under Adolf Hitler.

This chart was published by Herbert von Marouschek some time after 1939, as the return of Bohemia, Moravia and Memel to the German Reich is depicted. Fascinating First, Second and Third Reich history from the Nazi perspective. One piece of scotch tape but generally in very good condition.
