This big 9-¼ x 12 inch, 182 page July 1936 Nazi publication starts with a foreword by the Gaupropagandaleiter und Landeskulturwalter Wilhelm Michels and a full-page photo and introduction by Gauleiter Gustav Simon.

There are illustrated chapters about the racial make-up of the population of Grenzgau Koblenz-Trier, the history of the area all the way back to Roman times, the Communist influences in the 1920s, important people from Grenzgau Koblenz-Trier, art, culture and architecture, castles on the Rhine, new National Socialist youth hostels and government buildings, activities for HJ and BdM members, agriculture, the economy, the wine industry, the gemstone industry around Idar-Oberstein, etc.

Der Grenzgau Koblenz-Trier contains advertising by local producers of mineral water (Gerolstein, Apollinaris), beer (Bitburger Pilsner) and wine, banks, hotels and pensions, contractors, clinics, health resorts and cities such as Koblenz, Trier ("Germany's Oldest City") and wine making villages along the Rhine such as St. Goar, Boppard and Oberwesel.

Complete and in nice used condition. The title page has an eagle and swastika rubber stamp from a school in Idar-Oberstein, a town known around the world for the production of semi-precious stones.
