Santoro highlights the changes in government structure after Hitler and the National Socialists were voted into power in Germany, new political and paramilitary organizations, new industry, trade and agriculture policies, modern education and social programs, improved welfare for average German citizens, improvements in public order, updated military equipment, public building projects combatting unemployment, youth programs, art, religion, etc.

The photos in this 7 x 9-½ inch, 412 page brown linen hardcover book are by Hitler's personal photographer Heinrich Hoffmann, as well as Orbis Photo, Klinke & Co and E. Bieber. The photo section starts with black & white portrait pictures of important National Socialist cabinet members, leading politicians and military leaders. Those six pages are followed by photos of Hitler addressing Parliament, Hitler with Mussolini and other foreign dignitaries but also with German factory workers, Hitler in Nuremberg during the Reichsparteitag, military parades, the improved Kriegsmarine fleet, new Kdf cruise ships, housing developments and other social improvements for average German citizens, Reichsarbeitsdienst labor projects, Hitler Youth and BdM girls, National Socialist building projects including the Reichsautobahn, the 1936 Olympic Games, etc., etc. Most of these photos are not found in other Third Reich publications!
