The important German magazine Die Woche typically covered important events in Berlin and throughout Germany and carried advertising for upscale products for its upscale audience.

This Sondernummer or Special Issue has many pages devoted to the historic Anschluß or reunification of Austria with Adolf Hitler's Nazi Germany in the spring of 1938. Nazi Germany became Greater Germany and the slogan Ein Volk - Ein Reich - Ein Führer (One People, One Nation, One Leader) had become a reality.

There are additional features on Mozartstadt Salzburg, Carinthia, the city of Innsbruck, Biedermeier history in Vienna, famous composers such as Haydn, Brahms and Johann Strauss, well-known Austrian poets and soldiers, and even “Women and Marriage in the USA”.

This 86 year old issue of Die Woche also has advertising for Kienzle clocks, Miele, Atikah cigarettes, Nivea, Deutsche Staatslotterie, Bols, Olympia typewriters, Trommler shoes, etc. The back cover has a crossword and other puzzles.

This rare original March 1938 special edition of the Nazi magazine Die Woche is complete and in very nice used condition. It has normal wear for its age, no odor.
