This is a Special Edition of the 9-3/4 x 12-5/8 inch weekly magazine Die Woche for 23 March 1938, which has as its subject the new portion of Nazi Germany, Austria. The important German magazine Die Woche typically covered important events in Berlin and throughout Germany and carried advertising for upscale products for its upscale audience.
This Sondernummer or Special Issue has many pages devoted to the historic Anschluß or reunification of Austria with Adolf Hitler's Nazi Germany in the spring of 1938. Nazi Germany became Greater Germany and the slogan Ein Volk - Ein Reich - Ein Führer (One People, One Nation, One Leader) had become a reality.

This rare original March 1938 special edition of the Nazi magazine Die Woche is complete and in very nice used condition. It has normal wear for its age, no odor.
