This rare original 8 x 9 inch (folds to about 4 x 9 inches), 44 page, well-illustrated tourist booklet has handy English language information for travelers to Nazi Germany’s capital Berlin, Potsdam and the surrounding area in Brandenburg. The cover illustrations of the Brandenburg Gate and Sanssouci Palace is by famous German illustrator Ax-Heu (von Axster-Heudlaß). It was published in Nazi Germany by the Reichsbahnzentrale deutsches Reiseverkehr (DRV - the German Railways Tourist Traffic Organization) headquartered in Berlin

This Nazi travel guide has information on sights as well as details about museum opening hours, church services, theaters, well-known restaurants and cafés, public transportation, guide services, passport offices, etc. in Berlin and Potsdam. Options for guided excursions or independent outings outside Reichshauptstadt Berlin are also offered.

This rare 85+ year old Third Reich travel brochure has a 8-¾ x 10-¾ inch fold-out Berlin city railway map inside the front cover with S-Bahn information. Inside the back cover is a 15 x 17 inch, fully indexed fold-out color map which has Berlin on one side and Berlin, Potsdam and Mark Brandenburg on the reverse side. Both look like they were unfolded only once or twice - they are in pristine condition.

This original Nazi travel information is undated but printed late in 1935 or early 1936 due to the dates mentioned in the text. It is rare to find this brochure in the English language in this remarkable condition WITH both - frequently torn out - maps! No writing, no tape, no odor.
