50 RARE 8 x 10 INCH GLOSSY SS PHOTOS FROM A VETERAN'S ESTATE

The 50 glossy photos in this lot are remarkable, and most of them we have never seen published anywhere! We bought the prints from the estate of a United States Army Officer who served in Germany in the late 1960s and very early 1970s and we suspect that the prints were made while he was stationed there in the service.

They include SS-Obergruppenführer and General of Police Hans-Adolf Prützmann (one of the highest-ranking SS officials of the Third Reich) leaving the Höhere SS und Polizeiführer Rußland-Süd building in Kiev, SS General Sepp Dietrich (smoking and drinking during a dinner gathering while wearing his uniform with all his medals) with two LSSAH waiters wearing white SS mess jackets behind him, Hyazinth Graf von Strachwitz (“Der Panzergraf”), Bosnian muslim volunteers of the 13th Waffen Mountain Division of the SS Handschar with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Mohammed Amin al-Husseini and Generalmajor der Waffen-SS Karl-Gustav Sauberzweig, SS men wearing winter white reversible to camo coats and SS Totenkopf overseas style caps, an SS-Unterscharführer with an Adolf Hitler cuff band and Infantry Assault Badge on his tunic and a Feldgendarmerie gorget around his neck, Indian Tiger Legion soldiers with turbans, ....

These 128 x 178 mm black & white pictures are printed on Agfa paper and many of them have the abbreviation DCW written on the back.

.... an SS Officer with SS-Standarte 3/VT "Der Führer" collar tab and aiguillette, a bald SS-Obersturmführer with a Totenkopf cuff title and collar tab eating lunch, LSSAH guards, an SS-Sturmbannführer with the Order of Crown of King Zvonimir on the right breast pocket of his tunic, LAH marked tanks and vehicles, SS-Sturmmänner in the field carrying binoculars, map cases, rifles, and other field gear, a 7th SS Volunteer Mountain Division "Prinz Eugen” wearing his Bergmütze and binoculars around his neck, MG42 and MP40 guns used by SS men in camo jackets, Waffen-SS Gebirsjäger volunteers from Wallonie, Danish Waffen-SS members, Nazi hand grenades, SS helmets, a Bosnian SS poster, SS trumpet banners, a young SS organ student wearing a HJ armband, and even a young SS musician playing the violin with an SS musician collar tab in front of a framed portrait of Ludwig von Beethoven.
