This is a rare 100% original Rechnung or invoice sent to Mr. Becker of Berlin-Friedenau by Zentralverlag der NSDAP Franz Eher, the Central Publishing House of the Nazi Party in Munich. It is for one copy of the Nazi art magazine Die Kunst im Deutschen Reich, issue 8/9 August-September of 1942 (covering the Greater German Art Exhibition in the House of German Art) that Mr. Becker ordered on 14 July 1942. It was sent COD and the amount of 2.50 Reichsmarks (US$ 1.00) was to be paid on delivery.
The bill originated at the Publishing and Assorted Book Department of the Zentralverlag der NSDAP Franz Eher located at Tierschstrasse 11 in Munich. According to the invoice they supplied National Socialist books, magazines and publications in other literary areas.
Rechnung number R169199 is dated 13 October 1942 and measures 8-¼ x 7-¾ inches. It is one-sided and in very nice condition, exactly as shown. A rare piece of Third Reich Nazi Party ephemera! Who saved these?
