This is an excellent example of the very rare 6-1/2 x 9-1/8 inch 124 page, heavily illustrated soft cover book Der Weg zum Reich (The Road to the Reich) as published without a date (but probably 1941 or 1942) by the Reichsführer-SS - SS-Hauptamt in Berlin as an instructional book for the SS - the Political Soldiers of the Third Reich of Adolf Hitler and Heinrich Himmler.
Unlike any other book of the era, this one very carefully traces the origins of the Nordic Germanic people, their implements and their culture from the earliest times through the period of the National Socialist Movement, the National Socialist Reich and the European Battle against Jews, Bolshevism and English Imperialism.
Most of the beautifully rendered color maps in this books are not to be found elsewhere and the same can be said of the line artwork that embellishes many of the pages.
A very rare SS text in very good condition. The spine was probably re-taped at some point.
Unique to this book is a bibliography listing important books published between 1934 and 1940 which bear on the same subject.
This Nazi instructional book published by Reichsführer-SS - SS-Hauptamt is **SOLD**
