All books are priced individually and we are happy to combine outbound postage for multiple book orders.  

If you order one book by Media Mail (slow mail) for delivery in the continental USA, add $4.95 for outbound postage OR $8.95 - $15.05 by Priority Mail with USPS Tracking (price depends on book size). 

For each additional book by Media Mail add $1.50 postage.  Additional books by Priority Mail are not expensive because of flat rate shipping boxes that hold up to a half dozen books.  We will be happy to quote postage by Priority Mail flat rate boxes anywhere in the world.

As soon as a book is paid for, we will mark it SOLD on this web page or remove it, but always check first for availability by e-mail before making payment as almost all of these books are one-of-a-kind in our inventory.

Heer in Fesseln by Siegfried Westphal
Blaue Division, Spaniens Freiwillige an der Ostfront
RÖHM-HITLER is the German language edition of the French book L'Affaire Röhm-Hitler by Jean François (pseudonym used by a French diplomat in Berlin). This is the "authorized edition for Germany and the Saarland", published with the approval of the French Military Government in 1949 by Fr. K. Koetschau-Verlag. The 168 page softcover book is about the Röhm Putsch, the Night of the Long Knives that took place in Bavaria on 30 June 1934. 

This 4-5/8 x 8-1/4 inches softcover book shown left comes with a rare original trade band and is in very good, little-used condition. Rare!

Der Grosse Rausch, eine Reportage vom Russlandfeldzug 1941-1945 (The Big Frenzy - shown right) was written by Erich Kern. It is an eyewitness report by a Waffen-SS Officer, the first critical postwar behind the scenes look at Operation Barbarossa, from victory to defeat and retreat.

This 200-page 6 x 8-7/8 inch green linen hardcover book, written while Kern was an American POW, was published by Thomas-Verlag in Zürich (Switzerland) in 1948, and comes with its original dust jacket. Both the dust jacket and First Edition book are in very good, little used condition.  Doubt the book was ever read!

Der Hochrote Hahn Hans Rumpf
Der Hochrote Hahn by Hans Rumpf (shown right) published in 1952 by E.S. Mittler & Sohn of Darmstadt. This 6 x 8 inch, 168 page book is about the bombing of German cities by the Allies during World War II and has detailed information of dates, casualties and damages.

A First Edition hardcover book with original dust jacket in very nice, little used condition.

Enzian und Edelweiss by Generalleutnant a.D. Julius Braun (shown left), is a 260-page hardcover book about the 4th Gebirgsdivision from 1940 - 1945. The book has 68 pages of black & white photos printed on glossy paper, as well as illustrations and battle maps, and several color pages with watercolors made on the East Front during the war.

Published in 1955 by Podzun-Verlag, this 6-18 x 8-½ inch green linen hardcover First Edition has its original dust jacket and is in very nice condition.

Nazi Mountain Troops

Heer in Fesseln (Army in Shackles) by Siegfried Westphal was published in 1950 by Athenäum Verlag of Bonn (shown left). This 5-½ x 8-¼ inch, 334 page gray linen hardcover book contains excepts from the World War II files of chiefs of staff of German Field Marshals Erwin Rommel, Albert Kesselring and Gerd von Rundtstedt. With maps, fully indexed.

A very nice First Edition with original dust jacket (which shows wear).

Im Nürnberger Irrgarten (In the Nuremberg Labyrinth) by Karl Anders is one of the first postwar book (shown left) about the Nuremberg Trials.

This is a First Edition published by Nest-Verlag of Nürnberg in 1948 under Military Government Information Control License US-E-149. This 4-5/8 x 7-1/4 inch, 230-page softcover book is in very good used condition and comes with its rare 1948 dust jacket showing Hermann Göring, Rudolf Hess, Joachim von Ribbentrop and other leading Nazi officials during the Nuremberg War Crime Trials above the words, "Were they guilty?".

Blaue Division, Spaniens Freiwillige an der Ostfront (Blue Division - Spain's Volunteers on the East Front) was written by General Emilio Esteban-Infantes, who from 1942 onward was the commander of the Blue Division on the East Front.

This 5-3/4 x 8-3/8 inch, 136-page blue linen hardcover First Edition (shown right) was published by Druffel Verlag in 1958 has battle maps and a few black & white photos, including one of the author, Knights Cross recipient General Esteban-Infantes with Adolf Hitler at the Führerhauptquartier.

The book and its original dust jacket are in very nice, little used condition.

Die ungeklärten Fälle (Unexplained Cases) by Jürgen Thorwald, sheds new light on the deaths of German Ace Ernst Udet, General Lasch, Luftwaffe fighter pilot Werner Mölders, U-boat commander Günther Prien, Dr. Ing. Fritz Todt, General Dietl and Red Army General Wlassow.

This is a 5-¼ x 8-½ inch, 244-page First Edition with a gray linen hardcover and original dust jacket published by Steingrüben-Verlag of Stuttgart in 1950. Photos (including one of General Dietl with a lion cub) are printed on glossy paper. The book is in very nice used condition, the dust jacket is taped on the back in several places.

Schlachtkreuzer Scharnhorst Kampf und Untergang by retired German Naval Officer Karl Peter is about the famous German battle cruiser Scharnhorst, the Kriegsmarine sister ship of the Gneisenau. It covers its construction at the Kriegsmarinewerft dockyard in Wilhelmshaven, its specifications and armaments, and sorties which included participation in Operation Weserübung (April–June 1940 the German invasion of Norway), naval patrols in the Atlantic Ocean and the English Channel.

During the Battle of the North Cape on 26 December 1943, the Royal Navy battleship HMS Duke of York and her escorts sank the  Scharnhorst. Only 36 of the 1964 crew members survived.

Published by E.S. Mittler & Sohn in 1951, the book is dedicated to the fallen heroes of the Scharnhorst, Norfolk and Saumarez. The 5-3/8 x 8-1/4 inch 80-page book has four glossy photo pages, several maps and tables and is in very nice, little used condition. No odor.

Rommel, Schicksal eines Deutschen (Rommel, Destiny of a German) by Dr. Wilhelm von Schramm is a 5-5/8 x 7-7/8 inch, 64-page softcover book published by Dom Verlag in Munich in 1949. It contains 'the truth about the fall of Rommel, without hype'. 

The book has a US Military Government Information Services License number on the back of the title page and Rommel death mask on the back cover.

This softcover book is in very nice, little-used condition.

Hitler als Feldherr (Hitler as Commander) by Franz Halder, German General and the chief of the Oberkommando des Heeres staff (OKH, Army High Command) and Knights Cross of the Iron Cross recipient. This is a 5-3/4 x 8 inch, 64-page softcover book published by Dom Verlag in Munich in 1949. It contains Halder's view of Hitler as a military man, his military strategies from victory to defeat.

The book has a US Military Government Information Services License number on the back of the title page.

This softcover book is in very nice, little-used condition.

Die Letzten Stunden (The Last Hours) is subtitled "Memories of a Prison Pastor". Graf Alexander Stenbock-Fermor wrote down the memories of Harald Poelchau, a clergyman who worked in Tegel and Plötzensee Prison in Berlin, and there witnessed the last hours of many people's lives. Among them Helmuth Graf von Moltke, Field Marhsal von Witzleben, Peter Graf Yorck von Wartenburg and several others sentenced to death because of their participation on the 20 July 1944 plot to kill Adolf Hitler.

This rare hardcover 4-¾ x 7-¾ inch, 154-page First Edition was published by Verlag Volk und Welt in Berlin in 1949. It is in very good, little-used condition and comes with its original dust jacket.

Schiff 16, Atlantis, Bernhard Rogge
Schiff 16. is the story of the Kriegsmarine auxiliary cruiser Atlantis during World War II as told by Vice Admiral Bernhard Rogge to Wolfgang Frank.  Rogge (Oak Leaves to the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross recipient) describes in detail his many successful conquests, including 22 ships sunk and captured. Reading this book is like being on board the Atlantis while at sea.

This 5-½ x 8-½ inch light gray linen hardcover book has 362 pages, maps and 35 photos. It was published by G. Stalling Verlag of Oldenburg in 1955. In very good condition with original color dust jacket, no odor.

In the German language, NOT a modern reprint!

Mölders, Mensch und Flieger (Mölders, the Man and Pilot) was written by Fritz von Forell, the same author who wrote the 1941 book Mölders und seine Männer (Mölders and his Men).

This 6 x 8-¼ inch, 224-page dark brown linen hardcover book with gold blocking on the front cover and spine has 15 glossy photo pages showing Luftwaffe Ace Werner Mölders in action during World War II and with Hitler, Goering and even his mother. Published by Sirius-Verlag of Salzburg in 1951. In very fine condition with original dust jacket.
