NAZI ERA NUREMBERG PLAQUE, HEIDELBERG CASE

Nürnberg plaque
AN AUTHENTIC NAZI ERA
BLACK-OAK WALL PLAQUE
SHOWING A BEAUTIFUL
RELIEF OF THE CITY AND
CASTLE OF NÜRNBERG
This is a splendid Third Reich period 4-5/8 x 5-7/8 inch blackened-oak wall plaque with a very highly detailed view of the city of Nürnberg and its ancient castle stamped in a metal oval measuring about 3-1/2 x 4-3/4 inches.
Nürnberg Reichsparteitag
Nazi plaque
At the bottom of the oval is an acorn and oak leaf below the word NÜRNBERG in Fraktur lettering. There is not an eagle or swastika on this piece anywhere.

Of course, the city of Nuremberg was the home of Reichsparteitag or Reichs Party Day late in the summer each year. But the town also hosted the world’s largest toy exhibition and book show as well. Even those who came for Reichs Party Day did not necessarily bring home a bag of souvenirs emblazoned with Nazi insigne. Some purchased tasteful mementoes like this one that played up the city’s ancient past and beautiful skyline.

This piece is in fine condition and is without a doubt from the Third Reich period.

This Nazi era Nürnberg plaque is offered
for sale for $85.00 delivered to
any address worldwide.
