Among the rarest ephemera of the Third Reich, are the posters that once decorated the landscape of Adolf Hitler’s Germany. By their very nature most posters advertised temporary events and when those events were over, the useful life of the posters was over and they were discarded. Over the years we have acquired and kept some of the best Nazi posters we encountered, and we offer them for sale on this web page. A striking 16-1/4 x 23-1/4 inch, three-color blank poster made to be utilized by the Gaufilmstelle der NSDAP (Provincial Theaters of the Nazi Party) to advertise films scheduled to be shown or currently being shown.
The large 8 x 11-1/2 inch "movie screen" (the white area) was left blank so that a specific A4 size film brochure or movie still could be pasted there, or a list of films being shown along with their dates of exhibition could be printed there. Perfect unused condition.

KRIEGS-WINTERHILFE-LOTTERIE
Left, a colorful 16-3/8 x 23-1/4 inch poster to urge citizens to buy 50 Pfennig tickets in the National German Lottery and to have a chance at winning one million Reichsmarks. The art shows both the uniformed salesman and a lottery ticket.
This poster has a few wrinkles that could be pressed out, but the colors are as vivid as the day it was made. Very good condition.

GROSSAPPELL DER NSDAP GAU WIEN
Right, a striking 12-3/8 x 18-5/8 inch, three-color poster printed by Waldheim-Eberle, a NSDAP publisher of Vienna, advertising a huge gathering of the Nazi Party of Gau Wien in the city's Hero Square to hear an address by Gauleiter Josef Bürckel.
Like-new condition in every way.

1939 HITLER YOUTH WHW COLLECTION
Left, this colorful Fritz und Pikora artwork shows a Hitler Youth boy collecting donations for the wartime Winterhilfswerk (WHW) of the German Nation in December 1939. In his left hand he carries containing small hand-crafted figures given to each person making a donation. The poster was printed on heavy paper by Waldheim-Eberle, a NSDAP publisher of Vienna. Notice a small amount of damage to the nose of the HJ boy. It has been repaired by pasting a piece of paper on the back side.
REICHS LOTTERIE DER NSDAP
Right, a big 16-1/2 x 23-1/4 inch, multi-color poster advertising the 50 Pfennig Nazi Party lottery tickets for State Labor. Dated 31 July 1939, the lottery promised prizes of nearly six million Reichsmarks (2.4 million dollars).

1939 REICHSKOLONIAL-TAGUNG
Left, this striking 16-1/2 x 23-3/8 inch Bayrle illustration shows the swastika emblem of the Reichskolonialbund (RKB or State Colonial Society) on a map of Greater Germany with a red dot on the country's second largest city, Wien (Vienna). The poster was made to be put up for Nazi Colonial Days from 16 to 18 May 1939.
There are folds across the word Wien and a couple of pieces of scotch tape on the back side. Paper somewhat yellowed, but the colors are not faded. Very nice condition.

Left, a very unusual 16-3/8 x 22 inch two-color poster by Gustav Marisch advertises the Sport Film Hour of the NS Reichsbund für Leibesübungen in three Nazi Party theaters in Vienna. A few light wrinkles that would easily iron out. Very good condition.

Right, a beautiful 14-3/4 x 19-3/4 inch tan poster printed by the Reichsdruckerei in Berlin to advertise the release of special stamps for the Braune Band von Deutschland (the Brown Band of Germany) and the greatest horse race to be run in Germany in 1936. The Braune Band home racetrack was the one at München-Riem where famous SS riders like Hermann Fegelein and his brother rode.
Very good condition.

Left, a rare 11-3/4 x 16-1/2 inch cream and green poster advertises the special 4-up special Führer postage stamp sheet. It was printed in 1937 by the Reichsdruckerei in Berlin for German post offices and would be a perfect companion piece to the original philatelic sheet itself. In like-new condition.

Right, this special 16-1/2 x 23-3/8 inch blue and white duotone poster has a headline saying that England battles against German mothers and that the NSV (Nationalsozialistische Volkswohlfahrt eV) protects those same mothers. It shows Mother's Homes, aryan babies, mother health clinics, baby examinations and other activities for german mothers with children. A penciled date in the upper right margin says is it from June 1941. Excellent condition.
