This beautifully printed 33 x 43 inch multicolor map is a unique piece of Nazi and German history. Like no other map we know of this wartime map depicts the country of Germany at the maximum size it had ever attained in history. The German postal system stretched from Sylt and Emden in the northwest to Metz, Mülhausen in the southwest to Innsbruck and Wien (Vienna) in the south. It then continues including the Protectorate of Böhmen and Mähren, the Generalgouvernement, the Ukraine and Ostland in the east.

All this territory was the responsibility of the Deutsche Reichspost, the German postal system, and this rare map shows not only the extend of their jurisdiction, but the German names for all of the cities. The territory of Germany includes portions of what is now Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Croatia, Poland, Russia, the Ukraine, Latvia and Lithuania.

There are tiny tears at the folds in a couple of corners, but this undated 65+ year old Nazi map is in superb, virtually unused condition.
