This original multi-color Nazi map was published by the Zentralverlag der NSDAP, the Central Publishing House of the Nazi Party and was approved by the OKW or Oberkommando der Wehrmacht in Berlin. It is called Deutschlands Grenzen im Westen, Westwall und Maginot-Linie, Unsere Kolonien in Afrika, Die Europäische Großmächte und ihr Überseeischer Kolonialbesitz. This means the map shows the western borders of Nazi Germany with the Westwall (Siegfried Line) and Maginot Line, Germany's colonies in Africa as well as colonies of major European powers.
Unfolded the map measures 18 x 24 inches and it covers western Germany, a large part of France, all of Holland, Luxembourg and Belgium, Switzerland, northwest Italy and southeast England. The bright red line clearly shows the (ground and air) defensive positions on the German side of the border with France and the blue line marks the Maginot Line defenses.
